The customer experience team is amazing and saved this review from being 2 stars. I didn't find the website very intuitive for searching and finding a product to purchase, but the checkout process was smooth. The problems began when I received my confirmation and a second email to track shipping - that email contains links to their partner Route. The cake was supposed to be delivered 10/20, but the tracking information showed that is was still sitting in the warehouse. This was a surprise b-day gift so I didn't want to call the recipient to check in. I waiting until the following Tuesday (Route still showing it sitting in the warehouse) to call. It was at this time (4 days later) that I found out the cake was delivered on that Friday. All was well and customer service was great not only in answering all of my questions but sending the proof of delivery. They also mentioned they were aware of the issues with Route - it's time to make a change then. I would use them again - I would just be more diligent following up on delivery.

Since I found the 'Send a Cake" website last year I have sent five or six cakes. The ones I have sent to the grandkids are fun for them and I ENJOY the videos their parents send to me so I can see their pleasure at getting the exploding present. I send the larger cakes to the adults and the only thing I would change in that delivery would be to have an exploding box also.

My wife LOVES cookie cakes. I decided to order her a nice one as opposed to one from the grocery store. The cake arrived on time and was DEE-licious!
